Shivaji’s heart was affected by the penance of Mata Parvati ji and on the third day of Shukla Paksha of the month of Shravan, Shivaji appeared as Mata Parvati ji and Shivaji accepted her as his wife and the boon of fulfilling Mata Parvati ji’s wish. gave After that when Parvati ji’s father reached the forest looking for her, Parvati ji refused to go with her father and Parvati ji made a condition like her father that I will go with you when you marry Shivaji. He will join, then his father gave up and Parvati ji agreed to all the conditions and took him back to Parvati ji’s house. After some time, his father ji married Shiva ji and Parvati ji with complete rituals.

Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month is considered as the day of union of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Shiva ji was happy with Parvati’s sincere penance on this day and said that on this day Parvati ji had worshiped and fasted with true heart to get me, as a result of that the marriage of both of us was completed. After today, any virgin girl who worships this fast with a sincere heart, I will give her the boon of getting a groom according to the wish of that girl, whether it is a woman or a virgin girl, she will get an immovable marriage like Parvati ji. Significance of Teej festival

According to the calendar, the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad month will start from 03:20 PM on Monday, August 29 and will last on Tuesday, August 30, at 03:33 PM. At the same time, on the basis of Udayatithi, the fast of Hartalika Teej will be observed on August 30.

For Hartalika Teej Puja, first of all clay idols of Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati and Lord Ganesha are required.
