Astrologers have considered the 18th of September as auspicious day to keep the fast of Hartalika Teej. On 17th September, Tritiya Tithi will start at 11:00 AM, which will be valid till 12:39 PM the next day. Thus, considering Udaya Tithi as valid, the fast of Hartalika Teej will be observed on September 18 across the country. Along with fasting on September 18, the auspicious time for worshiping Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati is from 6 am to 8 pm. Suhagin women can worship at any time during this time. Pradosh period is starting in the evening on this day and Shiva worship is given great importance in Pradosh period.
